Topographic and Bathymetric LiDAR
Aero Logistics operates the largest fleet of CASA approved, survey configured fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft in Australia, accommodating a variety of remote sensing equipment from manufacturers such as Riegl, Leica Geosystems and Teledyne Optech to name a few. For unique or custom-built systems, our in house technical team has over 15 years’ experience in the installation and operations of sensitive survey equipment and can work with you to tailor a solution to fit any operational requirements or budget.
Our aircraft conduct over 4500 flight hours each year, supporting industry leading survey companies who conduct topographic and bathymetric surveys for precision mapping, analysis of urban and coastline environments, powerline vegetation encroachment assessment, 3D Digital Twins modelling and content mapping programs.
Supported by a management team with a wealth of experience in aviation, specialising in survey operations, our flight crews undertake rigorous training to ensure they are the most experience and highly skilled in the industry to safely deliver a high-quality product.
Aero Logistics has the expertise to support your aerial imaging requirements, whether it be for high resolution photography, wide area mapping or precision corridor route mapping. Utilising specialist equipment and comprehensive training, our flight operations team can undertake operations at altitudes up to 25,000ft AMSL unpressurised. We have the knowledge, experience, and training to get your project captured safely and efficiently.
Powerline and Corridor Mapping
Our aircraft and helicopters are used by electricity utility providers and leading geospatial companies to undertake powerline corridor assessment, inspecting, and documenting both transmission and distribution network infrastructure, monitoring vegetation growth for existing or potential obstructions or hazards, and enabling the long-term management of assets, vegetation and right of way clearance.
Aero Logistics holds CASA approval for low level helicopter operations, ensuring our clients can access even the hardest to reach infrastructure in mountain passes, valleys, or heavily vegetated routes safely and efficiently.
Whether for property, road networks, power lines, or any other asset inspection, a helicopter is the most cost effective and efficient way to get a true 360-degree appreciation of location and distance via our aerial survey service. Gain a better appreciation of property development potential, proximity to services and infrastructure, and asset size, by an aerial view from a helicopter.
We can provide aerial surveying solutions to government, property companies, asset managers, and other corporates, who wish to view or show clients their on-ground assets, from the air. Our executive standard helicopters can allow open cabin or club-style seating configurations for ease of communication between passengers, and quick reference to plans and documents amongst your group.
